Standard 1 used the internet to find information. Our class used the internet to find pros and cons about a question that was proposed by the student. This standard has taught me about using credible sources on the internet and how to search for information on the internet. My question that I propsed was "Should Children Receive Rewards for Good Grades?" I used Google.com as a search engine. I found a lot of information that was not relevent to my topic. This Standard has taught me how to use the internet to retrieve useful information. I will use this Standard for students in my classroom who are doing research on subject matter.
